Can I submit a design based on any character or franchise?
Yes, you can submit anything on the community platform! We welcome any ideas whether a popular character from a video game, TV show or movie to original characters as well!
How many votes does my design need to become a Youtooz?
There is no specific number of votes a design needs to be brought to life. Our team monitors all ideas and votes are a helpful metric to see if the community is interested but not a deciding factor.
What happens if my design gets enough votes?
If a design is well received by the community our team will reach out to the official owners of the IP and obtain the necessary approvals to make it real! You'll be updated through the process as the concept is brought to life.
Do I get paid or credited if Youtooz makes my design?
Yes and yes! All artists on the community are compensated with an upfront payment, a royalty commission and are credited for their work on the official product!
Can I submit more than one design?
Yes, you can submit as many as your fingers allow!
Why was my submission rejected or removed?
If a submission is rejected or removed from the community platform you'll receive detailed information on the reason. Generally rejected or removed ideas may have violated a guideline, such as being offensive or not following upload requirements.
Can I share my submission and ask people to vote for it?
Of course, you're more than welcome to promote your submissions or feature them in any personal portfolios!
What happens if my idea is popular but Youtooz can’t make it?
We will always try our best to bring popular ideas to life but ultimately it is up to the individual IP owners. If an IP owner doesn't wish to move forward we will notify you and can always try again in the future.
Do my submissions have to be made in the ‘Youtooz style’ or have ‘Youtooz eyes’?
No, we welcome all styles and encourage artists to experiment or remix the Youtooz style if it fits their vision better!
